At Capsule Arts, our goal was to design a contemporary art package to evoke that ‘kid in a candy story’ sense of excitement, all while creating a mood that was colourful and fun.
To achieve this, we used a pastel palette of soft bubblegum pinks, muted blues, pistachio greens and marbled white to mimic the colours of ice cream. We also created a fun, abstract display wall in the seating area where we designed acrylic ice-creams. These were created using a combination of 3D printing, molding, and resin.
Around the space we played with the ‘artisan craftmanship’ art narrative and displayed traditional baking items including measuring cups, rolling pins, cookie cutters, piping nozzles and cake moulds, to give it that handcrafted, homemade touch.
