Our role as Art Consultants was to explore the ‘wonders of the sea’ art narrative and echo the fluidity, reflections, patterns, and movements of water throughout the space. We also looked at aspects like the seabed as the main inspiration for the artworks placed in the spa.

Overall, we supplied more than 230 artworks and 3,300 accessories across Atlantis The Royal’s public areas & 10 celebrity restaurants namely: Gastronomy, La Mar by Gastón Acurio, Malibu, Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, Ariana’s, Jaleo, Little Venice, Milos, House of Desserts, Ling Ling.

As a brand renowned for its aquariums, we wanted to bring the idea of the viewing portal to life and place art that would draw people in for a closer look.

To do this, we placed a series of wall installations and murals that reflected elements of the sea within the public spaces. These installations featured a colour palette of blue, green, white and neutral hues with translucent elements that created a reflective effect from day to night depending on the light.

Playing with scale and movement, we installed large paintings, layered pieces, ceramic artworks and carved wooden pieces finished in gold to align with the luxurious quality of the space. A bold juxtaposition of colour was used against more neutral tones to maintain the hotel’s air of sophistication.

For the restaurants, we worked very closely with the celebrity chefs and the interior designer of each venue. This helped bring out the individuality of each of the restaurants within Atlantis The Royal. Some feature artworks within the restaurants were the pizza paddles, veggie head, chalkboard-style mural, surfboards and more.

We are delighted to announce that our project, which we have dedicated years of hard work to, has received international recognition at Atlantis The Royal.
