As Art Consultants, we were appointed to design and deliver a fashionable, chic and stylish artwork and accessories package that would complement the interiors designed by H2R Design

The art narrative for Clé d'Or was inspired by iconic fashion and elegance so our curation involved a mix of local and international artworks showcasing prominent fashion designers, classic movie stars, supermodels, world-class magazines, and luxury items. At the entrance, visitors are greeted by a striking sculpture designed by Capsule Arts Studio which was inspired by the famed sculptures of Alberto Giacometti as visualized to reflect a fashion catwalk. In the main lounge, we also placed a large art print from digital artist Antonio Mora, that merges different photographs into one seamless composition combining the world of dreams with reality.

The featured artists within the main lounge included Artist Mira Mortada, who was commissioned to develop a digital artwork representative of the local fashion scene. The piece showcases an elegant woman, posing in a traditional burqa in front of a bold geometric background inspired by heritage designs found within local crafts.  Whereas, artist Amol Kadam was commissioned to develop an original abstract painting on canvas. This piece was inspired by the local desert landscape during the “golden or magic hour”, this is a period of daytime shortly after sunrise or before sunset, during which the daylight is softer than when the sun is higher in the sky. This time provides the perfect light to capture stunning photos, and it is particularly used for outdoor fashion photography.

In the private dining, we curated a framed gallery wall, composed of black and white photography of various moments in fashion. From vintage images of Christian Dior fitting a dress, through to iconic models from the 40s, 50s and 60s, to modern storefronts and window displays - this collection of images is a literal representation of the narrative exuding luxury and elegance.
