Travel Diaries: Riyadh Museum of Contemporary Art (SAMOCA)
The Museum of Contemporary Art (SAMOCA) is built to host a diverse collection of artworks and installations created by local and international artists in association with the Argentinian Bienalsur. It aims to create an artistic dialogue between the displayed artwork and its chosen location at Jax District, through displaying interactive artworks that welcomes the public into Riyadh's main art district.
Attended by our Art Curator, Elyse Kassis, the museum’s running theme is titled, Imagine: Fantasies, Dreams, Utopias and includes bespoke art installations by more than 400 artists from 27 countries, including 10 from Saudi Arabia.
