Gary Yong
Multidisciplinary Artist

Gary Yong (Enforce One) is a Chinese Malaysian-born, New Zealand-raised multidisciplinary artist currently based in Dubai with a background in graphic design, art curation and art direction.

Primarily an illustrator and spray-painting artist, his practice covers realism, portraits and abstract work, resulting in an eclectic mix of visual styles. A founding member of ‘Cut Collective’ a group of renowned street artists, Yong is an avid collaborator who continuously reinvents and evolves himself as an artist.

He also took part in breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest graffiti scroll in Dubai and the largest glow-in-the-dark artwork in Ras Al Khaimah.

His commissioned artworks at Atlantis The Royal features a series of monochrome murals collaged with painted objects including spray painted reclaimed surfboards and weathered wood signage with faux rust.

The artworks pay homage to the West Coast surfing scene and bring a cohesive aesthetic all throughout the Malibu restaurant in Atlantis The Royal.
