Fernando Mastrangelo is a New York-based artist best known for collectible design and sculptural furniture. Using a grand mixture of form, content, and materials, his beautiful and complex work creates a universe in which landscapes, textures, and the human condition are layered and interconnected.
Having studied at the Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture and then a Master of Fine Arts degree in Sculpture from Virginia Commonwealth University, Fernando brings a world of expertise and craftsmanship to every piece.

Fernando was commissioned to create a piece of art that would feature in the Atlantis The Royal's Spa and Fitness Centre. His brief was to weave in the art narrative of the 'seabed and sand' with subtle references to the natural environment, including the coral reef, shells, and sand textures.
His art piece is an elegant representation of the natural environment that evokes a sense of calm and tranquility within the space.
