Launch of Tiger Co-lab Satwa Project

Last night saw the launch of Tiger Co-Lab, a platform where local artists of various disciplines will come together to co-create over the course of the year. The first project is inspired by Satwa and saw seven Dubai based artists venture out into this culturally rich area of the city over the past two months, where they got to truly discover the neighbourhood and it's people. The artists involved included visual artists, photographers, fashion designers, graffiti artists, and musicians. The seven Tiger Brand Ambassadors are Fathima Mohiuddin, Steffi Bow, Sya One, Kris Dozign, Isaac Odes, Lucky Schild, and Tim Hassall.

The event gave people the chance to see and hear each artistic outcome of the project, and a documentary aired about how the project happened and talks about what each artist learnt from the experience. Music on the night was provided by DJ East with a live set.

There are some pictures from last night below and more at #tigercolab, you can also check out Co-Lab Youtube channel here where the documentary will be made available to see again.

A secret place no more...

Sunday night Societe Perrier took over the Capsule Arts warehouse in Al Quoz to launch their global campaign 'The Secret Place'. The first event to take place in our space it was a great way to introduce people to the venue as they entered through an unmarked doorway and were taken through a sequence of rooms before they entered the main area - all in keeping with the secret place theme of the event. Music came courtesy of local DJ’s Rich Round, DJ Bliss, and Kristian Valdini while guests enjoyed the mixology cocktails on offer.

The Secret Place which officially launches today is a quest where participants are put through a range of puzzles, with the target being to unlock all the clues and progress through the game.  The key prizes are tickets to destinations and events such as Ibiza’s closing parties, Miami Basel, Rio Carnival, Australia for New Years Eve and a trip to St. Tropez. Make sure you visit www.perriersecretplace.com to take part!

In the coming year Capsule Arts Director Rachael Brown will be contributing as Arts Writer for Société Perrier Dubai so keep an eye out for our posts online www.societeperrier.com/dubai

Here are some pics from the night, many thanks to all who came and loved our space - more events like this to come! Sign up for more information about Capsule Arts at www.capsulearts.com
