Managing Director &
Deepa has a background in interior design but her interest in fine art led her to specialise as an art consultant for residential and commercial projects and the hospitality sector.
As Managing Director, Deepa brings her expertise in art production, logistics, and procurement to the execution of Capsule Arts’ bespoke projects. She works seamlessly with designers and contractors, offering complete project management to clients and ensuring everything runs smoothly from beginning to end.
Working predominantly in the UAE and wider region, Deepa has led on numerous projects such as Manzil Downtown Dubai; Rove Hotels, Dubai; and Liv Nordic Spa, Doha. She has proven experience working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with past projects including Hotel Pullman Zamzam Makkah and Bay La Sun Hotel, the first hotel to open in King Abdullah’s Economic City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Creative Director & Co-founder
Rachael’s background as a trained artist led her into arts programming and curation. With a vast experience in artist mentoring she plays an instrumental role in fostering relationships with the international and regional artists that Capsule Arts works with.
Living and working in the UAE for the past 10 years, Rachael has a strong understanding of the local market when it comes to developing art in line with a hotel's brands and target guest experience. As Creative Director, Rachael leads on creating the vision for each project, from forming the initial artwork brief and concept through to working closely with stakeholders and artists through all stages of creative development of the artworks.
Rachael has spearheaded several prestigious projects in the UAE, including developing a large-scale feature installation for Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates; commissioning artworks for the public areas of the New York University Abu Dhabi campus; and developing the art and accessories package for Nikki Beach Dubai.
Senior Art Consultant
As Senior Art Consultant and part of the creative team at Capsule Arts, Amy focuses on developing art concepts and accessories stylingfor projects. She works closely with artists during the commissioning process and helps to coordinate between the creative and production side of each project.
Amy has led on styling and art commissioning for several recently opened F&B outlets such as Yalumba, Le Meridien Dubai; Butcher & Still Steakhouse, Four Seasons Abu Dhabi; and the Eloquent Elephant, Taj Dubai. She also played a significant role in developing the art strategy for the Rove Hotels brand launched by Emaar in 2016.
Amy brings a degree in Fine Art along with over 8 years experience working in the cultural sector to her role. She has previously worked in arts communications in London, UK, and as an arts writer in Dubai, UAE.
Bahareh is a qualified architect & construction project manager, with over 12 years experience working in the U.A.E.’s architectural, interior design and art industries. She joined the Capsule Arts team as a Project Manager, following earlier Corporate Art Management roles in Dubai. She is also an exhibited artist and taught traditional Middle Eastern art for a leading educational institution prior to joining the team.
Amongst a wide variety of developments, Bahareh has worked on prestigious projects including concessions at the Dubai Mall, Palm Jumeirah and Downtown areas. Further afield, her experience includes projects within the residential, retail, hospitality and educational sectors within Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Oman & Iran.
Bahareh is a strong communicator and is process driven. She has an advanced appreciation of art, architectural space, and interior design, which contributes to smart design development and delivery in line with clients’ individual needs.
Norah is part of the creative team, working closely with Rachael and Amy in the development of art for projects. She serves as artist liaison at Capsule Arts, managing and building on the company's extensive database of artists and creative suppliers.
With a working knowledge in the branding and advertising industries, Norah also brings with her past experience working as an art consultant in the region prior to joining the Capsule Arts team. Having recently completed her MSc in Art and Cultural Management, her role allows her to combine these skills and create engaging art packages for clients.
Assistant Projects Coordinator
Vione supports Deepa and Bahareh in the execution of projects, working across all areas of production.
Since joining Capsule Arts in 2015, Vione has worked on several prestigious projects in the UAE, overseeing the procurement and logistics for projects including Rove Hotels, Dubai; Restaurants at Grand Hyatt Emirates Pearl, Abu Dhabi; and Butcher & Still, Abu Dhabi.
Stemming from her early studies in Architecture and Fine Arts, Vione has a longstanding passion for art and design. She also has a background in visual merchandising, which has been essential to her work in interior styling for Capsule Arts’ projects. Outside of her work in art consulting, Vione is an active maker of art, and her practice spans drawing, photography, media art and mixed media artworks.
